Refund Policy

1. Overview

Because we do not offer subscriptions or retainers, every payment made to Spectech Promotions LLC is tied to a specific, one-time project with an agreed scope. This policy explains when a refund of that payment is available, based on how much work has already been completed.

2. Cancelling Before Work Begins

If you cancel your project in writing before we have started any work on it — meaning we have not yet accessed your financial records, accounting software, or payroll system — you are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid, less any payment processing fees already incurred.

3. Cancelling After Work Has Begun

Once work has started, refunds are calculated based on the percentage of the agreed scope that has been completed at the time of cancellation:

• Less than 25% of the scope completed: 50% of the project fee refunded
• 25%–75% of the scope completed: refund calculated proportionally to the remaining, uncompleted scope
• More than 75% of the scope completed: no refund, as substantially all agreed work has been performed

Any completed deliverables (reconciled statements, payroll records, reports) prepared up to the point of cancellation will be provided to you regardless of refund eligibility.

4. Scope Changes & Additional Work

If, once we begin, your actual bookkeeping situation requires meaningfully more work than the original scope (for example, more months of backlog or more transactions than described), we will pause and provide a revised quote for the additional work before proceeding. You are never charged for expanded scope without your written approval. This additional amount is treated as its own one-time payment and is non-refundable once that additional work has begun.

5. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds are not available in the following situations:

• The project has been substantially completed (more than 75% of the agreed scope, as described above)
• The client provided inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent financial information that affected the outcome of the work
• The client is dissatisfied with a result that was delivered exactly to the written scope that was agreed upon before payment
• The refund request is made more than 14 calendar days after project delivery

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email info@spectechpromotions.com with your name, project reference, and the reason for your request. Please include your original booking confirmation if available.

7. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
